Attention all fans of Youtube’s ItsJustSomeRandomGuy, creator of the Marvel/DC videos! On Saturday, April 19 at 7 pm EST, the New York Comic Con will feature ItsJustSomeRandomPanel.
ItsJustSomeRandomGuy announced yesterday that he will be at the NYCC to answer questions and present exclusive videos, including the premiere of season 2 of his great video series: Happy Hour. The premiere will be available online immediately after on his Youtube channel. Hurray!
For those of you who aren’t familiar with RandomGuy, his video series began a little more than a year ago as a Mac Versus PC parody, which mainly included Spider-Man and Superman and even had the Mac/PC commercial music playing in the background. RandomGuy soon expanded his videos to feature other Marvel and DC characters, such as Iron Man, Batman, Wolverine, the Incredible Hulk, and the Green Goblin, to name just a few. In addition, he slowly abandoned the traditional commercial music and style and presented the action figure characters—whose voices he does himself—in various settings, principally a superhero bar. Also, instead of simply addressing a different issue with each video, the growing complexity of characters and settings allowed RandomGuy to start his first episode continuation, After Hours, in which his videos began to imitate actual comic book stories.
RandomGuy’s parodies attack comic book and movie news and the characters themselves, and are simply enjoyable to watch, not to mention hilarious. I, along with RandomGuy’s 27,000+ subscribers, can’t wait to see what’s next!

EDIT: Whoops, correction: RandomGuy doesn’t do all of the voices himself. His girlfriend, RandomGal, does the female voices and lots more, like costumes, props, and sets. Check out this behind-the-scenes video in which she shows the different ways she contributes and some other ways the series has evolved.

Yeah, I can’t either. But lucky for us, we can watch the season 2 premiere online right after it’s shown at Comic Con—whoo hoo!
